Bria Kelly CCS Winner!

Bria won the Altavista (WKDE) Colgate Country Showdown competition on June 6th, 2009!  She competed Sept 25th, 2009 in Richmond, but she had strep throat.  This affected her vocal performance, and she did not win. But this hard-working gal will be back!

Many thanks to Nash Street for all their help and advice!

Bria's voice can't be described by only one simple motto, so here are our favorites,
actually compiled from her fan comments on YouTube:

"Bria's voice goes beyond the ears ... it gets into the heart."

"Nobody sings the Anthem like Bria Kelly!"

"The Voice of an Angel"

"I'm gonna go pick my jaw up off the floor now ... brilliantly amazing."
(We know this is not really a motto, but we REALLY liked the sentiment!)

Bria has proudly performed our National Anthem for:

Orioles     Redskins     Eagles     Admirals     Tides     Renegades

Relay for Life     Center for Child and Family Services     Congressman Randy Forbes     Virginia Beach Amphitheater     City of Virginia Beach     Isle of Wight County Schools

Veterans of Foreign Wars     Navy     Air Force     USS DWIGHT D EISENHOWER (CVN69)     PCU NEW MEXICO (SSN779)     Portsmouth Police Dept

     Eagle 97

13-year-old Bria Kelly is a Hampton Roads native who has been compared to a young Celine Dion, Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood or Martina McBride.  Bria’s voice is crystal clear, powerful and emotional, and has been said on many occasions to give people goosebumps and chills.

Beginning her professional singing career at age 11, she has performed for the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Baltimore Orioles, the Air Force and Navy, the Norfolk Admirals, Norfolk Tides, Richmond Renegades, Virginia Congressman Randy Forbes, the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER (CVN-69), the City of Virginia Beach, and many others!

She has opened via the Anthem for celebrities such as Tracy Lawrence, Travis Tritt, REO Speedwagon, Darius Rucker, the Drew Davis Band, Sara Evans, Taylor Swift,
Rascal Flatts, Heidi Newfield and Rodney Atkins.

Her unique voice continues to get her invited to event... after event... after event...
